The tree gets its name from the Catawba Indian tribe, and has a rich history as a carving and cabinetry wood in the United States.  A relatively soft wood from a small tree, the grain pattern of the Catalpa is one of it's greatest selling points, allowing for incredible variations in whatever project applications you might have. Common uses include:

- Fence Posts

- Utility Wood

- Craftwood

Our Catalpa has been locally sourced and dried down to 5% before being stored in our dry-shed under humidity control to ensure the highest quality material for your project. All our material is planed down to the sizes shown below.
